IZZZI is still cool and I want to be your friend

A while ago, I told you about a new “social network” called IZZZI. I’ve been using it ever since, maybe not on a daily basis but I’ve accumulated quite a few posts.

Well, “accumulated” might be the wrong term, as every post remains on the site just one single day, which still is the major rule of the site. But recently there have been some changes to how everything works:

  1. You get a list of people who added you but where you didn’t add them back, and vice versa. You can turn this off.

  2. You can click on a post’s user name and write them a message, which gets added to the bottom of their next day’s article.

The first one is pretty great, I think. I guess some people have a lot of people who are into that type of thing and they immediately get a decent circle of “mutuals”. Others–like me–basically look for the few people who have a #izzzzi tag on mastodon and message them. This way, you basically just need someone’s user name, and if you check your settings, you’ll connect.

I don’t have enough experience with the messaging yet.

So, add me, I’m mhd on there.
